SAFRA Tampines played host to an afternoon of activities for the men of 328 SCE on 26 Oct 2018 Over 600 participants enjoyed cohesion games that included paintball, archery tag and bowling Feedback given was that the event offered a good mix of activities, was well organised, and enabled NSmen to bond over games.
Helping NS units build esprit de corps is an ongoing priority for SAFRA. With its onestop Cohesion Building Programme, SAFRA provides a broad menu of arts, sports, culinary and other teambuilding activities to engage and build camaraderie among NSmen. Such games and experiences can be customised to the identified needs of individual units, to engage participants ranging from small groups to gatherings of more than 1,000.
In 2017, SAFRA organised a total of 500 cohesion events for over 48,000 NSmen. Last October, it welcomed the NSmen of 328 Singapore Combat Engineers (SCE) to SAFRA Tampines for a day of food, fun and sporting activity – to mark the conclusion of incamp training for over 600 personnel in style, and with great enjoyment.
In groups, the men of 328 SCE (above) enjoyed games such as bowling, pool and billiards, laser tag, speed tag, archery tag and paintball. By the end of the day, participants were already looking forward to future cohesion activities and membership perks at SAFRA clubs.
